Camps – grouped by age (5-7) or (8-10) or (11-13) or (13-16)
Four day sessions offered Tuesday through Friday 9am – 4pm. Each week’s session has a different focus. Cost per child per week is $115 for Museum members ($125         for non-members). Before and after child care is available for an additional fee.         Youth Classes – Classes are available for the 3-5 age range as well as the older ages. They are Saturdays or Sundays. Some include both the parent and the         child. Parent/child classes are $7.50 for members and $10.00 for non-members. Child only classes are $10/$15. Family membership costs $60 for a year.

Summer day camps are grouped by age – (4-5) or (6-7)or (8-11) or (12-16)
Sessions for the (4-5) and (6-7) age groups areTuesday through Friday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Cost is $60 for members and $70 for non-members. Each week’s camp focuses on a different topic. Examples of classes scheduled this summer are:  Flower Power; CoolCats; Beetlebug Jam. After camp care is available until 5:00 pm for an additional cost. (14-17) year olds can even be a trainer for a day! They would “prepare diets, assist with feedings and training sessions and help with the Fins and Feathers Show.”

One Saturday each month. Call your local Lowe’s Home and Building Center for more details. Children can work at their own pace with accompaniment of a parent or adult.  Most activities are suitable for children ages 7-10 but they will let all children try. You can even take the kit home with you and work on it there.
