WHAT IS GIVING TUESDAY?
#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in countries around the world. We have two days for getting deals – Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On #GivingTuesday, we have a day for giving back. Together, people are creating a new ritual for our annual calendar.

HOW CAN I BE INVOLVED?
This year on #GivingTuesday we ask that you will support DSACO and our mission to raise awareness and provide resources, as well as promote acceptance and inclusion for people with Down Syndrome.

WHAT CAN I GIVE?
Everyone has something to give: time, skills, voice, goods or a monetary donation.

Time: Volunteer with us! We are having a movie night on Tuesday, November 27th to provide respite care for our families. Sign up to volunteer HERE. If you cannot volunteer on November 27th but would still like to donate your time please email info@dsaco.org to learn about more volunteer opportunities

Skills: The first and third Tuesday of every month mothers and their children with Down syndrome come to the office around lunch time for Mommy Mingle. We are asking occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and anyone studying or working a therapy related field to come and offer their skills for free in an informal environment. If you or someone you know is interested please email info@dsaco.org.

Voice: Help DSACO raise awareness about Down syndrome by sharing facts and myths on social media. You can also help raise awareness about our organization by sharing your testimony on how DSACO has made an impact in your life and sharing it on social media.

Goods: You can provide materials for DSACO’s New Parent Packets! DSACO needs the following books to give to new parents: Babies with Down Syndrome: A New Parents’ Guide, Gifts: Mothers Reflect on How Children with Down Syndrome Enrich Their Lives, and The Crown on Your Head. You can purchase those books HERE.

Monetary: Donate $21 in honor of the 21st chromosome and ask three friends to do the same.
