Food Critics is heading out for a sweet summer treat! Join us for a special Ice Cream Social edition of Food Critics, where participants will gather to enjoy delicious frozen treats, connect with friends, and share their thoughts on the overall experience in a fun and welcoming environment.

This event is more than just ice cream — it’s an opportunity for self-advocates to practice sharing opinions, build confidence in community settings, and help encourage accessibility and inclusion at local businesses. Participants will enjoy reviewing things like menu readability, customer service, atmosphere, and how welcomed they felt during the visit.

After enjoying their treats, participants will be invited to complete a short survey about their experience. Questions may include:

  • How easy was it to order?
  • Was the menu easy to read and understand?
  • Did the staff treat you respectfully?
  • Would you come back again?

Come cool off, enjoy some ice cream, and make your voice heard this summer!
