Self-Advocate Spotlight: Coach Gage!
From Player to Leader: Gage’s Big Dreams on the Ballfield
When Gage steps onto the red dirt of the little league field, it’s all business.
With a heart full of ambition and a love for the game, Gage is already setting his sights on a bright future. His dream? To become a coach. And he’s not waiting until “someday” — he’s already putting in the work today. During softball season, Gage umpires coach-pitch games, showing up once a week to do what he loves most: be part of the game.
But he doesn’t do it alone. Gage always has a partner on the field, someone there for safety and support, helping him stay confident in every call he makes. Still, there’s no question about why Gage is out there — it’s his passion that keeps him going. His dedication, focus, and enthusiasm shine through every pitch, every play, and every cheer from the stands.
Gage reminds us all that when you follow your passion with heart and hard work, anything is possible.
Way to go, Gage! We’re cheering you on every step of the way. Keep chasing those big-league dreams!
